The Bandits
Our vision and dream of becoming a successful music enterprise started in a apartment located in Homewood, AL in 2008. Embarking from the city of Birmingham, we kick-started with a mission to Take Over the entire music industry. With our dreams at large, we purchased our first set of studio equipment by pawning our vehicle title to our company bus (GMC Suburban). Having a group of talented and promising artists, mostly rappers, we were optimistic to create a striking difference by taking over the market with our ideals. With high hopes and extreme effort, we achieved the birth and well recognition of The Bandits; implementing the word of mouth strategy. Thereafter, we made the decisive switch to the So Be It logo for a corporate appeal by incorporating the 'word of mouth strategy'. The ideology of our birth and future is well represented by The Bandit logo which we retained in use because it depicts our past, present, and future strategic planning. "Whatever it takes, So Be It!"
Make History
The idea of incorporating ‘Make History’ into our logo is not ordinary; it was born from a combination of different significant scenarios.
Snipe Young, popularly known as Dr. Snipe G. Young is a producer signed to the Universal Music Group in California. He visited his home, Birmingham, AL, during the Christmas holidays in 2011, but also needed a proper studio to work on some of his projects. However, he chose to use our studio for his work while he enjoys his Christmas holidays.
Traditionally, we had a whiteboard hung on the entrance to our studio where every artist and producer who visited always signs, but Snipe’s visit became a swashbuckling and historical one. Dr. Snipe G. Young signed and wrote two powerful words that have remained historical and a driving force in our company. He signed and wrote the inspiring words – Make History.
These words –Make History stood out in many scenarios, even during the destruction by the tornado. In January 2012, after Snipe must have dropped these words, a tornado was seen to cross over our city to demolish the surrounding areas causing damage to the studio. A remarkable thing happened that portrayed the importance and mystery of these words more; as we went to gather up few things that could be saved and close the door, Make History was right there on the whiteboard, water leaks dripping out. This was exciting and inspirational! We had to incorporate it into our logo they way it was last seen to keep the vibes high and continue pressing forward. We want to create this positive mindset in others to continue with the journey and stay driven towards their dreams, despite any challenges and setbacks. This was why we included these words in our logo.
Fortunately, we were able to secure our vital music catalog, which dates back to 2008. However, we are working tirelessly with top engineers and producers in the music industry to ensure that we produce our music with the best and modern industry sound. We have resolved to mix, master, and produce songs with high-end studios to provide high-quality releases.
